Time for a pool party. The best part about having July 4th fall on a Saturday or Sunday is that you essentially get two holidays. You'll have the fireworks and the bbqs on July 4th no matter what (unless you live in Utah) and then you get the bonus day off work either the Friday or Monday. We decided to have a pool party for family home evening that night and it was super fun. Here is the gang that showed up.
Bobby had been to the pool a few times so he played it cool. The water wasn't too cold.

For awhile Bobby would just stare at a camera if it ever appeared but he has since learned to continue smiling and laughing when I hold one out. We had to always be super sneaky about the cameras.
Pool side basketball: Either a major bust or the most fun you've had in a pool in the last 3 years. There is no in between with this game. Luckily for us, it was a blast. We had to fill the beach ball with some water to help weigh it down and that made for some tricky shots. I dominated down low but Laura won the game for her team with the outside shot.
